Despina Shields

Despina Shields has extensive work experience in the field of regional service management. Despina worked at CT Corporation, CT Lien Solutions, and CT, A Wolters Kluwer Company as a Regional Service Manager from 1988 to 2008. In 2009, they joined Cogency Global Inc. as the V.P. of Product Management.

Despina Shields has a diverse educational background. Despina obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Management with a Marketing Concentration from Golden Gate University, graduating in 2013. Prior to that, they attended San Francisco State University from 1988 to 1990, where they studied Business Administration. Despina also has an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration, which they earned at Diablo Valley College from 1986 to 1988.

In addition to their formal education, Despina Shields has also obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. In August 2020, they completed an Unconscious Bias training program offered by LinkedIn. In March 2018, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, and they also hold the Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from the Scrum Alliance, obtained in March 2019.
