Kashif Khan, PhD

Kashif Khan, PhD has over 20 years of work experience in software engineering. Kashif began their career in 1999 as a Software Engineer at Validyss. In 2003, they joined McKinsey & Co as an Associate where they developed a project management web app and performed corporate performance reporting system studies. From 2007 to 2013, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Atlas Imaging where they developed mobile and backend software to process drone imagery. In 2018, they joined Athos as a Senior Software Engineer, where they eliminated data loss to zero in customer sessions and built rich media enhancements in the App. In 2020, they joined Cogniac Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer.

Kashif Khan obtained their PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2004. Prior to that, they had obtained their Masters (SM) in Aerospace Engineering from MIT in 1998. Kashif had also obtained their BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore in 1993.
