Keith L. Nixon

Keith L. Nixon, M.M., PMP, LCGB, CSM has a wide range of work experience in various roles and industries.

In 1996, they started their career at Verizon Business and held the position of Manager. Keith L. managed teams of technicians and representatives.

From 2004 to 2012, they worked at Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield Plan Administrator LLC as Manager II, Recovery / AR & Collections. Keith L. managed a customer service center team and was involved in systems migration projects.

In 2012, they became the Director of Cost Containment at Universal American, overseeing offshore recovery resources and the Medicare Secondary Payer process.

In 2014, they held the position of Project Director at Maximus, leading a staff responsible for answering calls and enrolling consumers for the District of Columbia Health Benefits Exchange Authority.

Also in 2014, they joined Cognosante as a Program Director, managing a portfolio of programs and projects for federal government agencies and other clients.

From 2021 to 2022, they worked at Accenture Federal Services as a Program Delivery Manager for the US Department of Defense and as a Program/Project Management Lead for CMS Account Strategy & Business Development.

In 2022, they became a Program Manager at Accenture Federal Services, leading a project for the US Department of Justice - Bureau of Prisons.

Currently, Keith L. Nixon is the Director of Call Center Operations at Cognosante, starting in 2023.

Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in program and project management, organizational structure development, process improvement, and team leadership.

Keith L. Nixon, M.M., PMP, LCGB, CSM has a diverse education history. Keith L. obtained a Master's degree in Management (M.M.) from the University of Phoenix, completing their studies from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Communication from Old Dominion University, where they attended from 1989 to 1993. Keith also had an advanced academic background, having completed their high school education at Sussex Central High School from 1987 to 1989. In addition to their degrees, Keith has acquired several certifications, including being a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute since November 2020. Keith L. is also certified as a Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Professional, an ICAgile Certified Professional, and holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) certification from Universal American, achieved in 2013. Keith's pursuit of continuous learning is evident as they recently obtained certification in "Thriving Together" from Thrive Global in 2023.
