Cogwear
John Webb is a Senior Neuroscientist at Cogwear, where John developed algorithms for human EEG machine learning, contributed to a pilot study for Alzheimer's detection, and helped build a neuromarketing platform. Prior to Cogwear, John was a Drug Target Discovery Intern at Schrödinger, and a PhD candidate at the University of California, San Francisco. In their academic journey, John conducted research on sleep-wake regulation, proteomics, exome sequencing, and neural control of behavior. John also has experience in undergraduate research at Washington University in St. Louis and Kyoto University. John holds a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of California, San Francisco and a BS in Biology with a focus on Neuroscience and Japanese Language and Culture.
