David Shanahan

David Shanahan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in investment writing and management. Since February 2007, David has served as a Senior Investment Writer at Cohen & Steers. Prior to this role, David held the position of Vice President at Credit Suisse from March 1997 to August 2006 and worked as an Editor at Value Line from March 1994 to February 1997. Earlier in David's career, a role as Business Manager at The American Spectator was undertaken from September 1986 to December 1990. Additionally, David contributed as an Instructor of Economics at The University of North Alabama during the 1984-1985 academic year. Academically, David holds a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Mississippi and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan.
