Ethan Mcmahon

As a Lead Software Engineer, Ethan is responsible for connecting the Cohesion platform with the many systems and technologies that facilitate the operation of a smart building. He is focused on creating flexible software solutions that can leverage a wide ecosystem of integrated technologies to enable and extend the functionality Cohesion is able to provide.

Ethan has over 7 years of experience designing and implementing both web and desktop applications - primarily in .NET - across a variety of industries from finance to ecommerce. He strives to build extensible products that can efficiently meet current requirements and easily adapt to future needs, and he aspires to continue learning and challenging himself with every new project.

Ethan discovered his passion for software engineering while pursuing an architecture degree at Washington University in St Louis, and still maintains an appreciation for the beauty of buildings. Outside of work, he spends his time making music and taking in local Chicago theater, and always enjoys a good TV binge watch session.
