COIMA RES is a real estate investment company listed on the Italian Stock Exchange which manages real estate assets in Italy, mainly consisting of properties for commercial use. Among the most important projects, COIMA has co-invested, co-developed and still manages the Porta Nuova project in Milan, the largest urban redevelopment project in a historic centre in Europe, located in a unique location 1 km away from the Duomo. Through the consolidation of the three neighbourhoods Garibaldi, Varesine and Isola, Porta Nuova returns to Milan an abandoned area of over 290,000 square meters, with 24 LEED certified buildings for a sustainable quality level without comparison in Italy. 30 architects of 8 different nationalities took part in the project, which among the various international awards received the European Property Award 2015-2016 and the MIPIM Award 2018.
