Harsha Bhat is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and product management across various companies in the finance and technology sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Coinbase since February 2022, Harsha is focused on developing scalable, secure, and feature-rich cryptocurrency exchanges. Previous roles include serving as Entrepreneur In Residence at Long Ridge Equity Partners and co-founding FairX, where an innovative low-latency Futures Exchange was built. Prior to these ventures, Harsha held multiple senior positions at State Street, including Senior Vice President and CTO, overseeing significant technology initiatives and managing large global engineering teams. An early career with notable firms such as Synopsys, Everest Design Automation, Silicon Graphics, and Ansoft Corporation further established Harsha's foundation in technology leadership and innovative software development. Harsha holds a B. Tech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Rhode Island.
