Varsha Mahadevan is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and machine learning. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Coinbase since September 2021, Varsha leads the Machine Learning & Platform Group. Previously, Varsha held the position of Associate Vice President - Engineering at BankBazaar from June 2016 to September 2021, where Varsha developed a hybrid cloud solution that significantly contributed to the company’s organic revenue. Varsha’s earlier tenure at Microsoft spanned over 13 years, encompassing roles such as Principal Software Development Manager for the Windows Shell Cortana and Search teams, and Senior Software Development Manager for the Windows Presentation Foundation. Varsha began the career as a Software Engineer at Mahindra British Telecom. Varsha holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Kansas State University and an Advanced Post Graduate Degree in Software Technology from NCST in Mumbai, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Vivekanand Education Society's Institute Of Technology.
