John Tring

John Tring is an experienced educator currently serving as a Level 2 & Level 3 Year 1 Lecturer in Computing/IT at Colchester Institute since April 2013. In this role, John leads the Level 2 Course, mentoring BTEC students in Information and Creative Technology, while developing and delivering curriculum for various Computing/IT courses, including Python Programming and Visual Basic. Prior to this position, John taught ICT at The Bromfords School and held the Head of Department role at Hylands School, where John focused on curriculum development and student progress. Earlier experience includes project management at Kent Blaxill, where John coordinated software implementation and staff training. John holds a PGCE from Mid Essex SCITT and a BSc in Business Information Systems from Anglia Ruskin University, along with additional qualifications in computing and programming.
