Lisa Cruz is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Vice President of Communications at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and President/CEO of Upside Communications, Lisa established Upside to deliver strategic communications counsel aimed at enhancing organizational success. Previously, Lisa held senior positions at the Texas Biomedical Research Institute, where responsibilities included corporate communication oversight, and the American Heart Association, focusing on revenue generation and communications strategy. Additional professional experiences encompass director roles at the Alamo Asian American Chamber of Commerce and Dublin & Associates, where Lisa managed PR teams and client accounts for diverse organizations. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies and Journalism from Baylor University.
