Mike Neal

Mike Neal is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in higher education and corporate finance. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Southern Roots Nut Company since April 2023, Mike is also a part-time Expert Network Consultant for Coleman Research, where insights are provided on industry trends and financial matters. Prior roles include Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer at Johnson County Community College, where management of financial and operational activities was overseen, and Vice President of Financial and Administrative Services at Southwest Tennessee Community College, handling all fiscal affairs. Mike's career includes founding an electronic wholesale club and contributing significantly to FedEx’s business strategy over an 18-year tenure. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Economics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Memphis.
