João Filipe Abreu has a strong background in finance and corporate development. João Filipe began their career as a Trainee at RAR - Sociedade de Controle (Holding) SA in 1993 and later took on roles as a Financial Assistant and Controller and Finance, Planning, and Management Control Director. João Filipe then served as the Corporate Development Director at RAR Sociedade de Controle (Holding) SA and as a Board Member and Director of Vitacress Limited (UK) at Vitacress. In 2012, Abreu joined Colep as the CFO and later became the Commercial & Marketing Director in 2021.
João Filipe Abreu completed the International Executive Programme (IEP) at INSEAD in 2008. In 2000, they obtained a Specialization in Finance - Mestrado em Ciências Empresariais from FEP U. Porto in Economics and Management. João Filipe studied Management at Universidade do Porto from 1988 to 1993.
