Corey Sparks

Corey Sparks, Ph.D., is a Senior Research Scientist at the Coleridge Initiative, leading collaborative research projects focused on education and workforce outcomes while developing training courses and database resources for public decision-making. Prior experience includes serving as a Statistical Consultant at the National Women's Law Center, a Lead Decision Science Analyst at USAA, and an Educational Consultant at Caring Across Generations, where Corey imparted R programming and data science skills. With a significant academic background, Corey held various positions at the University of Texas at San Antonio, including Associate and Assistant Professor, and contributed to multiple research initiatives on health outcomes and food insecurity. Corey's editorial leadership at Population Research and Policy Review enhanced the journal's impact, and the educational journey includes a Ph.D. in Anthropology and Demography from Penn State University.
