Jeff Thomson

Jeff Thomson, GCB.D, CMA, CSCA, currently serves as the Chairperson for the Coleridge Initiative, focusing on data science for public benefit, and as a Board Member for Competent Boards. Thomson also holds the position of Senior Strategic Advisor at Becker Professional Education until December 2024. Previously, Thomson was the President and CEO of the Institute of Management Accountants from 2008 to March 2023, where strategic developments led to significant growth and influence, achieving over 140,000 members globally. Early career years at AT&T included roles as Financial Director and CFO in business sales, with a foundational expertise in data science. Academic credentials include a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Montclair State University, along with further education from Columbia University and MIT Sloan School of Management.
