Pieter Luus has a diverse background in structural integrity management and engineering. Pieter began their career as a Structural Bridge Design Engineer at BKS Group in 2006. Pieter then moved on to Exxaro Resources in 2007, where they worked as a Senior Civil Structural Engineer before becoming a Programme Manager for Structural Integrity. In 2015, Luus joined Collaborit Physical Asset Management as the Director of Structural Integrity Management for Collaborit Engineering Services.
Pieter Luus began their education at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria in 2002, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Pieter completed this degree in 2005. Afterward, in 2006, Pieter enrolled again at the same institution and pursued an additional degree, specifically a B.Eng (Honours) in Management of Technology. This program lasted for one year, and they completed it in 2007. Then, in 2012, Pieter joined the University of South Africa and pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, specializing in Financial Management. Pieter accomplished this degree in 2014.
