Cory Thoma

Cory Thoma is a Senior Software Engineer at Collectly since June 2025 and also serves as the President of the New Stanton Council since February 2024. An adjunct professor of Computing and Information Sciences at Washington & Jefferson College since September 2016, Cory has previous experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Arcadia, a Senior Backend Software Engineer at InMoment, and an Advisory Software Engineer at IBM, where components of the Watson Discovery Service were developed and maintained. Cory's academic qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Information Technology Leadership focusing on Computer Science and Mathematics from Washington & Jefferson College.
