Cathy Ficzner

Cathy Ficzner is an accomplished operations leader with extensive experience in higher education administration. Currently serving as the Director of Operations at the College of Charleston since March 2019, Cathy has progressed through various roles including Operations Manager and Assistant Director of CAPP/First Year Impact Program Director. Previous positions include Student Records Manager and Technology Coordinator at the University of South Carolina from September 2013 to January 2019, and Assistant to the Registrar at Midwestern State University from September 2009 to May 2013. Cathy began their career as Campus Center Director at Park University from April 2006 to April 2009. Educationally, Cathy holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Arts in Sport Management from Baldwin Wallace University.
