James Malm

James Malm is an Associate Professor of Finance at the College of Charleston since August 2014, where additionally, James serves as the Associate Director of the Global Business Resource Center and Director of the Honors Program in Business after previously holding the title of Assistant Professor of Finance. Prior to this, James Malm gained experience as a Finance Instructor and Graduate Teaching Assistant, as well as Operations Management Instructor and Graduate Assistant at the University of Alabama from August 2007 to May 2014. Earlier professional experience includes a role as a Revenue Analyst at Coca-Cola Bottling Company from July 2006 to August 2007. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Finance and a Master's Degree in Operations Management from The University of Alabama, complemented by a Postgraduate Diploma in Mathematical Sciences from Stellenbosch University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
