Deborah Leonczyk, CPA, serves as the Executive Director of Berkshire Community Action Council, Inc. since December 2011, leading initiatives to alleviate poverty in Berkshire County through grassroots efforts and federally funded programs. In addition, Deborah is an Adjunct Faculty member in the MBA program at Elms College, focusing on Nonprofit and Government Accounting since July 2016. With over two decades of experience in various nonprofit roles as CFO, Executive Director, and Consultant, Deborah has worked with diverse organizations, including Community Action Agencies and educational institutions. Earlier in their career, Deborah provided audit services at Coopers and Lybrand and KPMG, serving clients across multiple sectors. Deborah holds a BA in Accounting from UMass Amherst and an MBA in Accounting and Business/Management from Western New England University.
