Jonathan Chen has a background in marketing, communications, and project coordination with experience in both the real estate and jewelry industries. Currently working as a Digital Communications Lead at the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia, where Jonathan ensures the protection of public health by maintaining communication between patients, pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians. Prior to this role, Jonathan held positions at Ann-Louise Jewellers Ltd., and Sutton Group Realty Services Ltd., where Jonathan gained experience in implementing rebranding strategies, utilizing social media for business opportunities, and forming partnerships to offer unique professional designations. Jonathan holds a BA from The University of British Columbia.

Found in 1891, the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia is located on the traditional, ancestral and unceded lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh). The College of Pharmacists of BC is the regulatory body for pharmacy in British Columbia and is responsible for registering pharmacists and pharmacy technicians and licensing pharmacies throughout the province. The College’s mandate is to protect the public by ensuring pharmacists and pharmacy technicians provide safe and effective care to help people achieve better health. We receive our authority from the government of BC through the Health Professions Act and the Pharmacy Operation and Drug Scheduling Act. The College’s 12-member Board sets the strategic direction for the regulation of the pharmacy profession in BC.
