Dr. Naseem Koylass is currently the Vice President of Academic Affairs at the College of Science, Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago (COSTAATT). She is the holder of a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership/ Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix, a Master of Science in Economics, a Diploma in Educational Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of the West Indies.
Dr. Koylass has considerable experience in teaching and in higher education administration both in Trinidad and Tobago and the wider region. She was a senior lecturer (economics and mathematics) and department head at the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College in St. Lucia until 1998 when she returned to Trinidad and joined NIHERST, where she spearheaded the development of the Business Studies Department, which has since grown to become one of the largest departments within COSTAATT. Dr. Koylass also plays a critical leadership role in all accreditation and quality assurance activities at the College.

The College of Science, Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago (COSTAATT) is one of the largest public tertiary institutions in Trinidad and Tobago, COSTAATT awards certificates, advanced diplomas, associate and bachelor’s degrees in a wide range of specialized, technical and academic programmes to full and part-time students. The College is the premier regional institution offering educational programmes in a number of critical areas including: radiography, medical laboratory technology, nursing, business and library studies. In addition, the College is the official translation body for the Government of Trinidad and Tobago.
