Daniel Alvarado, EdD, has extensive experience in higher education administration and counseling services. Currently serving as Interim at the College of Southern Nevada since June 2018, Daniel is integral to aligning campus activities with the college's mission and ensuring a consistent student experience across multiple campuses. Prior to this, Daniel held the role of Director for Disability Resource & Counseling and Psychological Services at Vance-Granville Community College from August 2001 to July 2022, overseeing staff management, providing direct counseling, and addressing student needs. Daniel's educational background includes a Doctor of Education from Wingate University, a Master's degree in Counseling from North Carolina Central University, a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Wayland Baptist University, and an Associate's degree in Management from the Community College of the Air Force.
