Rebecca Markarian

Rebecca Markarian currently serves as the Assistant Director at the Center for Career Development at the College of the Holy Cross, where responsibilities include managing two career communities of around 1,000 students, providing individual career counseling, and directing experiential educational programs. Prior experience includes working as an Education Specialist for the Rhode Island Department of Education, where Grant-funded math readiness courses were implemented, and partnerships for professional development were established. Additional roles encompass serving as a Long Term Substitute Guidance Counselor at Tri County Regional Vocational Technical High School, conducting counseling sessions, and analyzing data, as well as multiple positions at Boston University Metropolitan College related to student activities and graduate admissions advising. Rebecca holds a Master of Education in Counseling from Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development and a Bachelor of Science from Boston University.
