Thomas Alteen

Thomas Alteen, CMQ-OE, has extensive experience in quality assurance and supplier performance management, currently serving as a Senior Manager at Collins Aerospace since 2010. In this role, Thomas leads a global team of 25 quality professionals, ensuring product compliance from over 300 suppliers and managing quality objectives across six assembly sites. Key accomplishments include a strategic reorganization of the Supplier Quality Assurance team, leading to a significant reduction in supply base escapes and successful certification participation in major aerospace programs. Prior to Collins Aerospace, Thomas held positions at Bombardier, where notable achievements included reducing internal non-conformances and developing integrated plans to enhance supplier performance. Thomas holds certifications and degrees in Quality Management and Business Administration from recognized institutions.
