Sean Devlin

Senior Curator Of Archaeological Collections at Colonial Williamsburg Foundation

Sean Devlin is an accomplished archaeologist with extensive experience in curation and education. Currently serving as the Senior Curator of Archaeological Collections at the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation since May 2021, Sean previously held the position of Curator of Archaeological Collections at the Mount Vernon Ladies Association from August 2016 to April 2021. Earlier experience includes a role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota from August 2013 to August 2016 and as a Staff Archaeologist and Instructor of Anthropology at Washington and Lee University from January 2009 to August 2012. Sean holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Anthropology from the University of Minnesota, a Master of Arts in Anthropology from William & Mary, and a Bachelor of Arts in European History from Washington and Lee University.
