Goktug Yilmaz is the Co-Founder of colonist.io, a browser strategy game company. Prior to this, Goktug was also a Co-Founder at Breakpoint Labs, focusing on blockchain projects and decentralized games, and the Creator of the iOS Crafting RPG game Dawn of Crafting. Goktug also co-founded Kreix, where Goktug developed mobile apps and raised government grants. Additionally, Goktug founded and chaired the METU eSports Society, representing Middle East Technical University in various eSports tournaments. Goktug also contributed to game emulator development at RunUO. Goktug holds a Master's degree in Software Engineering from Middle East Technical University and a Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning from Gazi University.

We are a modern-day gaming guild with a mission to make multiplayer games players want to play. Growing up we were part of online Clans, Guilds, and Alliances in various MMOs & online games. Today, Colonist is our online Guild, and we work tirelessly towards our mission. * We are fully remote * We are output-driven and work asynchronously * We are a hybrid between a startup and a game company * We keep meetings at a minimum and; * We have fun and make our game while playing it!
