Niels Frank Jensen is an accomplished R&D Senior Scientist at Coloplast, involved in medical device development projects since May 2022. Prior to this role, Niels worked at Bavarian Nordic from June 2019 to April 2022 as a scientist in the QC laboratory, contributing to enzyme activity assay development for drug substance impurity testing and coordinating validation activities for raw material analytical methods. From June 2013 to May 2019, Niels served as a Research Scientist and Chemist at Novo Nordisk, focusing on biological assay development and GMP-regulated quality control for hemophilia drugs. Niels completed a Ph.D. in Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Copenhagen and gained research experience as a visiting Ph.D. student at the National Cancer Institute, addressing chemotherapy-resistant colon cancer cells. Early career experiences include positions in molecular cardiology and oncology research at various hospitals and research institutions.
