Amanda Crawn

Program Manager, Housing First at Colorado Coalition for the Homeless

Amanda Crawn is a seasoned professional in the mental health field, currently serving as Program Manager for the Housing First initiative at the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless since June 2018. In this role, Amanda manages a SAMSHA grant-funded Assertive Community Treatment team focused on aiding individuals with severe mental illness and chronic homelessness, emphasizing community living support. Previously, Amanda held various positions at Aurora Mental Health Center from May 2011 to January 2018, including Program Manager roles for both Connect to Care and Assertive Community Treatment, where innovative approaches and multi-disciplinary teamwork were implemented. Amanda's foundational experience includes providing therapeutic services at AllHealth Network. Academically, Amanda holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Purdue University and a Master's degree in Clinical, Counseling and Applied Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado.

The mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for families and individuals experiencing or at-risk of homelessness throughout Colorado. The Coalition advocates for and provides a continuum of housing and a variety of services to improve the health, well-being, and stability of those it serves. Since its founding more than 30 years ago, the organization has earned state and national recognition for its integrated healthcare, housing, and service programs. The Coalition’s comprehensive approach addresses the causes of homelessness, as well as the consequences, offering critical assistance to over 18,000 individuals and families each year. Positions at the Coalition span more than 50 programs and offer a variety of employment opportunities in a trauma-informed environment.
