Colorado Coalition for the Homeless
Nancy Sanchez serves as the Vision Services Program Manager at the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless since September 2019, after previously working as a Patient Care Coordinator at the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless Eye Clinic from January 2018 to September 2019. Nancy's clinical responsibilities included triaging patients and managing their medical records and medication orders. Earlier experiences include a role as a Customer Care Agent at Raphael Studio Gallery, managing customer and distributor relations, an internship at Eaton Senior Communities focusing on wellness program outcomes, and volunteering at Clinica Tepeyac for fundraising events. Additionally, Nancy served as an IT professor assistant and a tutor at the Community College of Denver. Educationally, Nancy holds a Master of Science in Health Informatics from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Information Systems from Metropolitan State University of Denver, supplemented by an Associate of Science degree from the Community College of Denver.

The mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for families and individuals experiencing or at-risk of homelessness throughout Colorado. The Coalition advocates for and provides a continuum of housing and a variety of services to improve the health, well-being, and stability of those it serves. Since its founding more than 30 years ago, the organization has earned state and national recognition for its integrated healthcare, housing, and service programs. The Coalition’s comprehensive approach addresses the causes of homelessness, as well as the consequences, offering critical assistance to over 18,000 individuals and families each year. Positions at the Coalition span more than 50 programs and offer a variety of employment opportunities in a trauma-informed environment. We value staff development and training, within a culturally diverse workforce, that promotes innovative thinking and creative approaches to out work.
