Wren D. currently serves as the Clinical Program Manager for the Department of Outreach and Engagement Services at the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, a position held since December 2022. Previously, Wren D. worked at the Aurora Mental Health Center as a Clinical Mental Health Therapist focusing on homeless services from December 2020 to December 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Therapist and Intern at Through the Door Counseling and an Internship at Inspiration to Live Well Integrated Mental Health. Wren D. also contributed to FRONTSTEPS as a Procurement Specialist, extending a temporary position due to outstanding performance. Earlier career roles include a Sales Associate at Wish Gifts. Wren D. earned a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Denver.

The mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for families and individuals experiencing or at-risk of homelessness throughout Colorado. The Coalition advocates for and provides a continuum of housing and a variety of services to improve the health, well-being, and stability of those it serves. Since its founding more than 30 years ago, the organization has earned state and national recognition for its integrated healthcare, housing, and service programs. The Coalition’s comprehensive approach addresses the causes of homelessness, as well as the consequences, offering critical assistance to over 18,000 individuals and families each year. Positions at the Coalition span more than 50 programs and offer a variety of employment opportunities in a trauma-informed environment.
