Daniel Johnson

Daniel Johnson is a seasoned academic and entrepreneur in the field of economics, currently serving as a Professor, Schlessman Professor, and Chair of the Economics & Business Department at Colorado College since August 2004. Johnson's teaching focuses on economic methodology, public policy, and innovation. In addition to academic roles, Johnson has been involved in various entrepreneurial ventures, including serving as Founder and CEO of BookCheetah, which facilitates a student marketplace for textbooks, and Chief Analytics Officer at FoodMaven, aimed at reducing food waste. Johnson's experience extends to roles such as Founding Partner at Reduce Resale Recycle and Advisory Board Member for Kadi Energy, reflecting a commitment to sustainability and social impact. Educational credentials include a PhD from Yale University and an MSc from The London School of Economics.
