Hal Render

Hal Render is an experienced professional in the field of computer science, currently serving as an Applications and Systems Integrator at Colorado College since April 2023, focusing on the integration of college applications using the StreamSets data integration platform. Prior to this role, Hal Render spent over two decades at Quantum Corporation as a Sr. Staff Programmer/Analyst, developing B2B and A2A solutions with Oracle SOA Suite 11g and Snaplogic, as well as managing EDI transactions. Earlier experience includes positions as a Sr. Systems Engineer at Visteon, Sr. Technical Instructor at MCI, and Sr. Instructor in the Computer Science Department at the University of Colorado - Colorado Springs. Hal Render began a career in academia as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Illinois, specializing in software engineering research. Hal Render holds an MS and PhD in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Science from Binghamton University.
