David Lindsay

David Lindsay is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in staff training and development, corrections management, compliance, and intelligence operations. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Staff Training and Development at the Colorado Department of Corrections, David leads a team responsible for training over 6,000 correctional professionals. Previous roles include Associate Director of Prison Programs, Associate Warden, and Director of Colorado Correctional Industries, where David demonstrated expertise in managing diverse teams and ensuring program viability. With a military background, including positions as Director of Intelligence/Security for the US Army and various roles in the United States Air Force, David has a proven record of improving operational efficiencies, driving strategic initiatives, and successfully implementing training programs. Educational credentials include master's degrees in Forensic Science and Administrative Management and a bachelor's degree in Political Science from the United States Air Force Academy.
