Nicole Stone is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in vendor management and regulatory oversight. Currently serving as a Compliance Officer at the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority since February 2008, Nicole spearheaded a vendor management program that oversees over 150 vendors and provides valuable insights into policy improvements for senior management. Nicole's leadership extends to previous roles, including Board Vice President at CSBG CO Dept of Local Affairs, where strategic advice was given on Federal grants allocation. Additionally, Nicole has worked as a course instructor for the Jewish Family Service and Colorado Community Action Association. With a solid foundation in compliance and operational efficiency, Nicole holds a Bachelor of Arts & Sciences from the University of Colorado Boulder, as well as certifications in Lean Six Sigma and training from Bridges Out of Poverty. Currently, Nicole is pursuing further education at the University of Denver.

Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) finances the places people live and work. Created in 1973 by the Colorado General Assembly, CHFA strengthens communities by making loans to low-and moderate-income homebuyers, affordable multifamily rental housing developers, and small and medium sized businesses.
