Douglas Thamm

Douglas Thamm serves as the Barbara Cox Anthony Professor of Oncology and Associate Professor at Colorado State University since 2011, previously holding the position of Assistant Professor of Oncology from 2004 to 2010. Thamm's extensive experience in veterinary oncology includes roles as a Staff Oncologist and Director of Medical Staff at the Animal Emergency Center, Assistant Scientist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a consultant in oncology at the University of Queensland. Thamm began formal training in oncology as a Resident at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital, following a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Educational credentials include a VMD in Veterinary Medicine and a BA in Biology, both from the University of Pennsylvania.
