Hussam Mahmoud

Hussam Mahmoud is a distinguished academic and researcher in the field of Structural Engineering, currently serving as a Professor and the George T. Abell Professor in Infrastructure at Colorado State University since August 2011. Over the years, Hussam has held various positions at the university, including Associate Professor and Assistant Professor, and has directed the Structural Laboratory. Prior experience includes serving as Faculty Fellow at the Air Force Institute of Technology and Operations Manager at the MUST-SIM Lab at the University of Illinois. Hussam's academic background features a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
