Marla Steele

Marla Steele is an accomplished wildlife biologist and executive director with extensive experience in environmental assessment and management. Currently serving as the Lead/Supervisory Wildlife Biologist at Colorado State University, Marla oversees the monitoring and management of military lands in collaboration with various military bases. As Executive Director at Aeris Odysseys and a former Senior Ecologist at Bloom Biological Inc., Marla has authored technical reports, conducted numerous aerial surveys, and managed complex environmental assessments. Marla's background includes positions as a Burrowing Owl Field Assistant, Invited Researcher at the National Institute of Ecology in South Korea, and involvement in various ecological projects, complemented by advanced academic credentials including a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Arkansas.
