Tony Schlak

Tony Schlak is an experienced IT leader with a robust background in infrastructure and database management. Currently serving as the Director of Infrastructure and Database at Colorado State University since February 2023, Tony oversees a 13-member team and a $3.5 million budget, managing IT operations across three campuses. Previously, Tony held various leadership roles at the University of Arizona, including Director of Information Technology, where responsibilities included directing IT operations for the College and leading cross-functional teams to implement scalable solutions. With a strong foundation in systems administration and IT management gained from roles at The University of Arizona Health Network and Pima Community College, Tony has continuously focused on compliance, secure data storage, and network reliability. Tony holds a Master’s in Organizational Leadership and degrees in Technology Management and Associate of Arts from Northern Arizona University and Pima Community College, respectively.
