Michael Ireland has spent the last 20 years in film and television as both a producer and executive. He began his career as a television executive at MTV overseeing shows like Pimp My Ride for the network. He transitioned to film as a producer at Appian Way, Leonardo DiCaprio’s production company before becoming a senior film executive at 20th Century Fox and Disney. He is currently the Co-President of Production at Paramount Pictures overseeing films such as Star Trek and Transformers. He has spent the last 8 years as a board member of the Science & Entertainment Exchange, a program administered by the National Academy of Sciences dedicated to advancing collaboration between science and the arts.
