Matt Wilkins is an accomplished electrical engineering professional currently serving as the Head of Electrical Engineering at Colt Data Centre Services since July 2023, where focus is on providing technical authority and support to global engineering teams while ensuring adherence to standardized design and procurement strategies. Prior experience includes multiple roles at BT from September 2008 to June 2023, including Electrical Engineering Manager, responsible for leading a team in the design and strategy of mission-critical electrical infrastructure, and Electrical Specialist, focusing on electrical design and compliance across the organization. Earlier in the career, Matt held positions as a Power Technical Support Engineer and Power & Cooling Engineer, gaining extensive experience in technical support, consultancy, and operational maintenance. Matt holds an HNC/HND in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UniCourse and has a background in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from Stoke On Trent College, complemented by a comprehensive education in various subjects from The Friary School and Aldridge School.
