Denise Cervera

Denise Cervera is an experienced Elementary School Counselor with the Colton Joint Unified School District, providing counseling to over 650 students in Social Emotional Learning and Academic & Career Counseling since August 2012. Denise has taken on various leadership roles, including Lead Elementary Counselor and PBIS Tier II Coordinator/Coach, while also delivering professional development workshops for teachers. Previous roles include Adult Education Counselor, where Denise counseled students and developed COAAPs, and Long Term Substitute Teacher, providing instruction across multiple subjects. Additionally, Denise served as an Adjunct Professor at California State University-San Bernardino and as a Site Coordinator for Think Together. Denise holds a Master of Science in Counselor Education/School Counseling from California State University-San Bernardino and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine.
