Mike Peel

Mike Peel is a seasoned procurement professional with extensive experience in global indirect procurement, currently serving as Senior Director and Head of Global Indirect Procurement at Columbia Sportswear Company since February 2008. In this role, Mike oversees a $700 million indirect spend portfolio, focusing on strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier relationships across various regions. Previously, Mike held multiple roles within Columbia Sportswear, including Director and Sr. Manager, where significant transformations and expansions of procurement operations were achieved. Prior to Columbia, Mike worked at Intel Corporation for over seven years, assuming roles such as Business Intelligence Tools and Process Manager and Purchasing Manager, where foundational procurement and business intelligence strategies were implemented. Mike holds an MBA in Sports Marketing from the University of Oregon and a B.S. in Public Communication from the University of Idaho.
