Brian Cohen serves as the Lavine Family Executive Director at Columbia University in the City of New York since January 2012, leading a team of 20 professionals and significantly growing the organization's budget. Previously, Brian held roles including Executive Coach and Faculty for Hillel International, Director of Campus Operations at Hillel, and Executive Director at University of Virginia Hillel, where a struggling non-profit was transformed into a successful organization. Early career experience includes serving as Director of Jewish Student Life at Hillel at Binghamton University and working as an Account Executive at Modem Media for notable clients such as IBM and JCPenney. Brian earned a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from Syracuse University in 2000.
