Sarah Tayse, CAWA, has extensive experience in animal welfare and operations management. Currently serving as the Director of Operations at Columbus Humane since August 2018, Sarah previously held the position of Veterinary Services Manager at the same organization from November 2002 to September 2016. Additionally, Sarah worked as the Pet Services Manager at Schoedinger Funeral and Cremation Service from September 2016 to April 2018. In June 2023, Sarah participated as a conference attendee at the Wilson Ornithological Society.

For 134 years, Columbus Humane has been sheltering homeless animals, fighting animal cruelty and neglect, and offering programs to address the needs of animals in our community. More than 92 percent of our funding is provided by donations and fees for services. We are not a government agency, and we do not receive general operating support from national organizations. Columbus Humane relies on the support of private donors and volunteers to make our work possible.
