Rodrigo Obando is an accomplished academic and professional with extensive experience in computer science and information systems. Currently serving as an Associate Professor and Associate Chairperson at Columbus State University since January 2005, Rodrigo has dedicated a significant portion of their career to teaching and research. Previously, Rodrigo held roles as Assistant Chairperson and Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the same institution, in addition to an Assistant Professor position in Information Systems and Operations Management at Fairfield University from August 1999 to December 2004. Early in their career, Rodrigo worked as the IS Director at Therapists Unlimited from August 1997 to August 1999. Rodrigo's academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from Old Dominion University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from Tecnológico de Costa Rica.
