Columbus Symphony
Daniel Walshaw has extensive experience in the field of music and arts administration, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Columbus Symphony since September 2016, where prior roles included Vice President Operations and Director of Artistic Planning and Business Development. Previous positions include Artistic Administrator and Chief Librarian at KwaZulu Natal Philharmonic, Music Director for the National Institutes of Health Community Orchestra, and Curator at the Library of Congress. Daniel Walshaw also worked as a Music Instructor at the International School of Music and served as a Librarian for the National Orchestral Institute. Academic credentials include a Master of Music in Instrumental Conducting from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Music in Music Theory and Composition from Oakland University.
