Mika Toponen has extensive work experience in the field of automation engineering. Mika started their career in 1999 as an Automation Engineer at Metso Paper Oy, where they worked on various projects and eventually became a Project Chief Engineer. In 2010, they joined Comatec Group as a Design Engineer and gradually progressed to the role of Chief Design Engineer. Mika also briefly worked as an Automation Engineer at Insinööritoimisto Keijo Kärki Oy in 2010.
Mika Toponen began their education in 1995 at the Helsinki Institute of Technology, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Automation Engineering. Mika completed this program in 1998. In 2000, they enrolled at Helsingin Ammattikorkeakoulu Stadia, focusing on Sähkö- ja tietoliikennetekniikka (Electrical and Communications Engineering).
