Andreas Lundqvist has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Andreas started their career at Linköping University as a PHD Student in Solid Mechanics from December 2002 to April 2005. Following this, they worked as a Stress Engineer Consultant at Gesab Engineering AB from May 2005 to December 2005. Andreas then joined Saab Aerostructures, where they held multiple positions including Trainee (April 2006 to December 2006), Stress Engineer (January 2006 to March 2008), and Manager of Stress Engineering for External Products (March 2008 to September 2009). Andreas later transitioned to Saab Aerosystems as the Manager of Structural Dynamics, Flutter and Separation (September 2009 to September 2010). Andreas then moved to SCAMA as Technical Director from September 2010 to October 2012. Currently, they are working at Combitech AB, where they have held the position of Business Area Manager (November 2012 to March 2019) and is currently serving as the Vice President and Head of Design since March 2019.

Andreas Lundqvist's education history includes completing their Licentiate degree in Solid Mechanics at Linköping University from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained their Master of Science (MS) in Solid Mechanics, also from Linköping University, from 1998 to 2002. Andreas began their educational journey at Holavedsgymnasiet, where they pursued their Gymnasieingenjör degree in Naturvetenskap from 1995 to 1998.
