Madeline S. Bell has served as a director since February 2016. Ms. Bell is the President and CEO of The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), a top-ranked children’s hospital in the United States. Prior to being promoted to CEO in July of 2015, Ms. Bell served as CHOP’s Chief Operating Officer for eight years. Ms. Bell began her career as a pediatrics nurse and moved from a variety of different nursing roles into hospital administration in 1989, and holds a Master of Science degree in organizational dynamics. Ms. Bell serves on the boards of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics and Solutions for Patient Safety, and also serves on the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee.
